2. What These Terms Cover

2.1 These Terms & Conditions apply when you submit an enquiry or provisional order through our website for an EV charger or solar installation.

2.2 No payment is taken at checkout, and submitting an order or enquiry does not create a legally binding contract between you and us.

2.3 These terms explain what happens from the point of enquiry through to installation. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.

3. Consumers – Your Rights

3.1 A “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.

3.2 If you go on to accept a quotation and make payment, you will have the legal rights granted to Consumers under UK law, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“Consumer Contracts Regulations”).

3.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

4. Your Obligations

4.1 You must ensure all information provided to us (including property details, photos, and contact information) is accurate and complete.

4.2 You agree to co-operate with our team and provide any further information we reasonably require to prepare your quotation and carry out your installation.

5. Enquiry and Assessment Process

5.1 When you submit an order or enquiry through our website, no payment is taken and no binding agreement is formed.

5.2 We will contact you to review your installation details and may request photos, conduct a virtual or on-site survey, or confirm technical specifications.

5.3 If additional work or materials are required beyond a standard installation, we will provide a clear, itemised quotation before any payment is made.

6. Forming a Contract

6.1 A legally binding contract between you and us will only be formed once you accept our final quotation and payment (or deposit) has been received.

6.2 Until payment is received, both parties are free to withdraw at any time without obligation or penalty.

6.3 Cooling-Off Period (Consumers Only):
In accordance with UK law, once payment is made and a contract is formed, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

This 14-day period begins on the day after the contract is formed (i.e. the date payment is taken).

To cancel, you must inform us in writing (by email or post) before the cooling-off period expires.

If installation work has not yet begun, you will receive a full refund within 14 days of cancellation.

If you have requested that installation begin during the cooling-off period, you may still cancel but we may deduct a reasonable amount to cover any work already completed or costs incurred.

7. Price and Payment

7.1 All prices shown on our website are estimates only and subject to confirmation following assessment.

7.2 Your final quotation will confirm the total cost including VAT (where applicable) and any additional work identified during the assessment.

7.3 Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

7.4 Payment in full (or an agreed deposit) must be received before your installation booking can be confirmed.

8. Installation

8.1 Once payment has been received and your booking confirmed, we will agree a suitable installation date with you.

8.2 You must ensure that a responsible adult is present on the installation day to allow access and sign off on completion.

8.3 You agree to provide our installers with a safe, clear, and accessible workspace. We are not responsible for damage to items that have not been moved from the installation area.

8.4 If our engineers determine that the site is unsuitable, unsafe, or significantly different from the information provided, we may suspend or cancel the installation. In such cases, we may deduct reasonable costs from any refund due.

8.5 We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties (including your Distribution Network Operator (DNO), local grid, or access restrictions) which are beyond our reasonable control.

9. Ownership of Goods

9.1 Ownership of any equipment or materials supplied passes to you only once full payment has been received.

9.2 Until then, we retain ownership and reserve the right to recover or deactivate equipment if necessary.

10. Warranties

10.1 All chargers and solar products we supply include a manufacturer’s warranty as standard.

10.2 Our installation work is covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of installation.

10.3 These warranties are in addition to, and do not affect, your statutory consumer rights.

11. Cancellations

11.1 You may cancel your enquiry or provisional order at any time before payment is made, with no cost or obligation.

11.2 Once payment is made, your 14-day cooling-off period applies (as described in section 6.3).

11.3 To exercise your right to cancel, you must contact us in writing by email or post. We will confirm receipt and process your cancellation as required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything which cannot be legally excluded.

12.2 We are not responsible for:

Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable;

Losses caused by inaccurate information you provide;

Any business-related losses (where you are acting as a Consumer).

12.3 If you are not contracting as a Consumer, our total liability is limited to the total price paid by you for the relevant goods and services.

13. Events Beyond Our Control

13.1 We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as adverse weather, supply chain disruption, or DNO delays.

14. Personal Information

14.1 Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy], which sets out how we collect, store, and use your information.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

16. Complaints

16.1 We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. Please contact us using the details below if you have any concerns.

We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to provide a proposed resolution within 14 working days.
